Vihara Mahavira Graha Center Holds Blessing Ceremony for Distribution of Merits Through Liang Huang Jewel Repentance

On April 7, 8, and 9, 2023, Friday-Sunday, three consecutive days, Mahavira Graha Central Lodan Temple held a sacred blessing ceremony homage Liang Huang Kshamayati, led by the Abbot, Mahanayaka Chaokun Hui Siong, and more than ten Sangha monks in leading religious rituals with full sense of prostration and devotion.
Liang Huang Ratna Kshamayati is a highly revered Mahayana scripture that guides mankind to free themselves from bad karma in the past and our karmic debts to others.
It is a combination of revered Buddhist Sutras, in which it also praises the glory of the Buddhas. People can channel good merits for the development of Bodhicitta resolve through the merits of self-training through worship and repentance.
The ritual ceremony lasts from 8.30am to 9.30pm on the first day, and on the second day, the Sangha is respectfully invited to perform Yoghacara Ulka-mukha, making food offerings to suffering beings.
