Jakarta, January 25, 2025 – The Indonesian Buddhist Centre Association, on Saturday, January 25, 2025, held a charity event at Vihara Mahavira Buddhist Centre, demonstrating compassion by distributing 4,000 parcels and Angpao to the Chinese community in need of special attention. This event was held in celebration of the 2025 Chinese New Year – the Year of the Snake. The event was attended by several prominent figures, including the Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Nazarudin Umar, and the Director-General of Buddhist Affairs, Drs.
