衛塞已進入跨國的時代。今年聯合國慶祝大會通過視頻在曼谷聯合國駐亞太地區舉行衛塞聯合國研討大會。

自從新冠疫情爆發，全球各個地區封城。兩年半後，東南亞、美國各地解封。今年的衛塞節普天同慶傳達佛陀的智慧與慈悲、建設美化人間、創造人間名族和諧、宗教互相包容、社會祥和。

Vesak has entered the era of transnationality. This year, the United Nations Celebration Conference held the Vesak Seminar in Bangkok through a video streaming.

The world have been locked down due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic. After locking down two and a half years, the Southeast Asia and the United States were gradually opened. This year’s Vesak Day is celebrated all over the world to convey the great wisdom and compassion of the Lord Buddha, to build and beautify the world, to create peace, harmony, mutual tolerance of religions, and social.

今年印尼自從1982年衛塞列爲國家假定日，每年的衛塞通過天文氣象臺來指定五月最圓的月圓今年落在5月16日中午11點13分。

印尼佛教中心協會大叢山西禪寺假雅加達佛教大廈内當日上午九時贊揚繞境佛陀舍利。9.40分準時，世界24個國地區，諸山長老傳達衛塞的音聲，通過視頻向全球的佛教徒恭賀衛塞喜慶。

10.15分慶祝大會開始。婦女學佛會呈獻供養，青年佛學會獻佛教舞蹈【慈光普照法輪常轉】啓開慶祝大會。

Indonesia has designated Vesak Day as a public day since 1982, and every year the day of Vesak is designate through the Astronomical and Meteorological Observatory to observe the fullest full moon day in May, the fullest full moon is designated as the Vesak day. This year’s full moon falls on May 16 at 11:13 noon.

The Indonesian Buddhist Center Association and Wihara Mahavira Graha Monastery co-organised the celebration events,to praise the Buddha’s sacred relic at the Mahavira Buddhist building in Jakarta at 9:00am. At 9.40am in the morning, the Elders Maha Sangha from 24 countries & regions around the world,hand in hand, stay together and conveyed the voice of Vesak and congratulated the Global Buddhists on the celebration of Vesak through video streaming.

The Vesak celebration start at 10.15am. The Women’s Group volunteers presented offerings to the Lord Buddha, and the Youth group presented the Buddhist dance- “The Great Compassion light Shining & Turning the wheel of Dharma Eternally”.

大會恭請國會議員 張育浩先生 為貴賓致衛塞賀詞，説明衛塞的意義紀念三大神聖的紀念日；悉達多菩薩降臨人間、釋迦牟尼佛證悟成道 以及 佛陀進入大涅槃。衛塞的意義是佛法慈光普照天下。山河大地一切衆生得到衛塞的慈光照耀、覺悟人生、净化身心。這次疫情，全球經濟通貨膨脹。身爲佛弟子的我們也要接受事實如何應對當今社會經濟不調的現象。大家的合作、社會民衆的力量、通過包容忍讓、互相幫助、大家的功德力量、有慈悲的付出、有智慧的思維，國家社會才能繁榮進步。通過思維衛塞意義建立和諧生活與繁榮社會。

Thereafter,cordially invites Mr. Daniel Johan, member of Parliaments, to deliver the Vesak congratulatory message to all Buddhists and explaining the significance of Vesak to commemorate the three sacred anniversaries;

Prince Siddhartha came to the world, and attained Enlightenment and achieved Buddha-hood as Sakyamuni Buddha and entered Nirvana. The meaning of Vesak is the light of Dharma and compassion illuminate the world. All sentient beings in the mountains, rivers and the earth are illuminated by the compassion light of Vesak, enlighten their lives, and purify their bodies and minds.

The Covid-19 epidemic has caused inflation in the global economy. As a Buddhist, we have to accept the reality and facts. We have to deal with today’s social and economic imbalances. With the cooperation of everyone, and the strength of the public, through tolerance, mutual help, the strength of everyone’s merits, compassionate dedication, and think wisely, with such wisdom & compassion, the country and society will prosper and progress. In addition, we should think about the meaning of Vesak, built a harmonious life and a prosperous society.

本會領導人慧雄大師父强調今年的衛塞節主題：通過思維提高衛塞慈光，使人類得莊嚴成就圓滿人生。佛陀告訴我們學佛要培養慈悲的信仰，慈悲不是只有做善事。慈悲要學習菩薩的悲願。你有機會做善事，幫助別人還要感覺有機會種福田，經常生活在知足得到法喜。當我們一個人有願力，通過修行來莊嚴自己的信仰，有願必成功。如果沒有悲願，眾善奉行還是剛强傲慢、自私, 達不到净化身心，得不到衛塞加持力。所以信仰有世間與出世間法的信仰。世間法的信仰做好事要求回報，得到的是世間福田。本來人生活在世間都是無常變化。當能體悟到出世間，所種的悲願福田將來一定能得到慈悲的信仰。學佛在衛塞期間一定要得到佛法的加持力。

雖然我們現在全球各個國家開始逐步解封但今後面對的生活必定還是更高的挑戰。只要我們對佛法有信心，遠離貪嗔癡，傲慢，自私，通過佛法的喜捨，付出包容一定能夠從災難化清涼，煩惱證菩提。

The leader of the Indonesia Buddhist Center Association Most Venerable Hui Xiong emphasized the theme of this Vesak Day: “To develop and improve the light of Vesak’s kindness through thinking visualizing so that human beings can have a solemn and fulfilled life. The Lord Buddha teaches us to learn Buddhism, one must cultivate the faith of compassion, and compassion is not only about doing good deeds. Compassion is to learn the great compassionate vows of the Bodhisattva.
You have the opportunity to do good deeds, to help others but also at the same time, one should treasure the opportunity to gain the blessing and often live in contentment and obtain Dharma joy.

When we have the will, we will have strength and power to honor our beliefs through practice. We will succeed if we have the will. If there is no compassion, the pursuit of goodness will still be arrogant, arrogant, selfish, unable to purify the body and mind, and unable to obtain the blessing of Vesak.
There are beliefs in the mundane and Supra-mundane laws. The belief in the law of the world requires doing good deeds in return, and what you get is the blessing field of the world. Human beings live in the impermanence world. When you can comprehend the supramundane Dharma (Sanskrit:lokottara，Pali : lokuttara), the compassionate seeds you planted will surely gain the belief of compassion in the future. When studying Buddhism in Vesak, you must get the blessing of the Dharma.

Although most of the countries are now gradually open,there will definitely be higher challenges in life in the future. As long as we have confidence in the Buddha-Dharma, practice the Dharma, we will stay away from greed, hatred, delusion, arrogance, and selfishness, and through the joy, sacrifice, and tolerance of the Dharma, disasters will be cease and achieve Bodhi path.

雖然我們現在全球各個國家開始逐步解封但今後面對的生活必定還是更高的挑戰。只要我們對佛法有信心，遠離貪嗔癡，傲慢，自私，通過佛法的喜捨，付出包容一定能夠從災難化清涼，煩惱證菩提。在傳燈祈福除了對國家政府首長，祈求政躬康泰、四衆弟子法體安康、事業順利、得大吉祥。我們也為戰爭的國家祈福，願戰爭早日平息，互相原諒、不能嗔恨因爲報復是國家的災難。要得到前途光明，社會安定，經濟繁榮 必定要有慈悲的信仰。

當天，除了世界各國長老為全球佛教徒祈福慶祝大會，本山住持率領四眾弟子頂禮七佛寳懺。法會結束後，大家一起享用衛塞素食午餐。

At the events, the Most Venerable Hui Xiong led everyone to bless good health for the head of the state government and devotees, obtain great success in careers and auspicious. We also pray for the war-torn country. May the war end as soon as possible, forgive each other, and not bring disaster to the country because of hatred and revenge. To have a bright future, social stability, and economic prosperity, we must have compassionate beliefs.

On that day, in addition to the celebration of the prayers for Buddhists around the world by elders Sangha from all over the world, the abbot led all devotees to pay homage to the Seven Buddhas Repentance Kshamayati . After the puja, everyone enjoyed a Vesak vegetarian lunch.
